Winter / Spring 2014
These walks are ideal for anyone who who enjoys walking and getting out in the countryside, but maybe needs a bit of extra help and support to enable them to do this. The walks are typically 3-4 miles long and will involve rough and uneven paths as well as some short uphill sections. Whilst they are meant to challenge participants the walks should be possible for the vast majority of people. The walks will help to develop fitness and wellbeing as well as social and communication skills. They also encourage learning about the countryside and environment. Please make sure you are properly dressed and equipped for the outdoors. There is a full list of what you need, and other useful stuff on the Information Page.
This Winter 2014 we have the following activities:
Unless otherwise stated all activities now £12 (support workers £8) per week regardless of distance & time.
