Regular activities
Wednesday Walks
Wednesday walks are provided for people who need a bit of extra support to enable them to get out and enjoy the outdoors. The walks are usually around 3-4 miles and will involve some uphill sections and uneven ground. The walks are selected to be safe but challenging and take place in beautiful locations in the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales, Lancashire moors and the Silverdale Arnside area. They should be fine for anyone with reasonable levels of fitness. .Support workers are welcome to come along on these walks. Please see the information page for details of what clothing & footwear you need. The meeting place is usually Dalton Square opposite the Dr's Surgery, it may however be possible to arrange other meeting points by prior agreement.
